LOU

I was born in Cheshire and lived in London for several years. Working as a bar and then restaurant manager in London then moving into Business Development, working for my dad for 13 years.

Bringing these working experiences together to build and grow our business has been brilliant, and having the opportunity to do something you love, is a real privilege. Working along side Matt is fantastic – we have our own roles, but make all our decisions together.

We are incredibly lucky to get on as well as we do! We want to bring our passion for food and good times to our business and offer our clients a really personal service. One which they will love and hopefully come back for time and time again! .

MATT

Trained as a panel beater, a job I did for 13 years, my passion for food and cooking grew so much I couldn’t ignore it. A twist of fate found me working my way up to a head chef in Liverpool, and I’ve not looked back.

Mostly self-taught, I’m all about flavour….I believe food shouldn’t be complicated and I don’t always follow the ‘rule books’!

I love creating menus for clients, giving them something a bit different, perhaps with a twist here and there. But the main point being, it’s THEIR menu! Food they love….that’s the real buzz for me. Cooking for clients, inviting them to experience how we do things, Hardy & Big Dub style!
