We are Matt and Lou Hardy and we’re here to make your special event go with a bang. We provide an end-to-end catering experience for customers across the North West and beyond, bringing fun, fine food, and a festival atmosphere to any event. We cater weddings, birthday parties, and any other kind of celebration you choose to throw, as well as corporate events and more.

 

Since we started this crazy adventure in 2015, we have catered for hundreds of events up and down the country, though centred around the North West. In that time, we have earned ourselves a reputation as one of the region’s top independent caterers. We have much to offer our customers across the region and beyond, from bespoke food and drink menus, to elaborate event tipis, and, of course, our famous ‘Big Dub of Love’ vans.

Hardy's Gift Vouchers

The Hardy’s Cook & Social began at the beginning of the first lockdown. It was a way of us getting a group together, to cook, learn new skills, brighten all our moods, have a little drink together if we fancied! In lockdown it has become a weekly treat to see smiling faces, meet new people and do some lockdown learning!

 

On the back of the Cook & Social success, we have now launched a range of cookery courses to purchase as gift vouchers.

While we’re happy to make suggestions, we understand that it’s your big day and that the food we serve should reflect that. Impeccable catering

Our food is amazing and we’re not shy about saying it. However, when you hire us, you’re not just getting quality food, prepared fresh on site. We source provide all the cutlery, tableware, and glassware needed to serve your guests, as well as our own crew of experienced front-of-house staff.

Weddings

We love catering weddings. Helping a new couple start their married life together by sharing a meal we’ve created, is one of life’s legitimate joys. Not only can we help with the food, but we can also provide drinks, wedding tipis, music, and more.

The Big Tipi of Love

Our tipis are perfect for weddings, parties, and other forms of celebration. Each one can hold between 50 and 150 guests, depending on the layout. Complete with flooring, lighting, and heating, we can customise them to match any theme.

The Big Dub of Love

We love our Big Dubs. This pair of restored vintage VW camper vans are Hardy trademarks. Fully-equipped for on-site catering, they’re a fun way to serve your evening street food or buffet, or they can be repurposed into a mobile bar. Either way, they add a touch of retro fun to any event.
